Main application:

Back-fire relief valve is a safety device used for prevent the tempering of inflammable gas and liquid flame from explosion. Usually used on the storage tank or on the pipe line of transport or output inflammable gas. Such as, torch, heating combustion system, oil gas recovery system or other inflammable gas system.

Maintenance of back-fire relief valve

1,In order to ensure the performance of the back-fire relief valve can achieve the using purpose, must carefully read the specification before install the back-fire relief valve, and carefully check whether the scutcheons accord with the pipeline.

2,The marker of the flow direction must accord with the medium's.

3,Check it every six months. Check if there has blocking, deformation or corrosion, etc.

4,If was blocked, should clean the flame retardant bed, ensure every oillet is unimpeded. If deformation or corrosion, should replaced the flame retardant bed.

5,When clean the back-fire relief valve chipware, should use high steam, non-corrosive solvent or compressed air purging, shall not use sharp hardware.

6,When reinstall the back-fire relief valve, should renew the shim, and affirm the seal surface has been cleaned and no bruise, has no air leakage.
