PDS desulfurization and decyanation catalyst, biogas dedicated desulfurizer
PDS desulfurization is a wet oxidation process used PDS catalyst to remove sulfur. It is cobalt phthalocyanine sulfonate series compound, the main ingredient is dinuclear cobalt phthalocyanine sulfonate.
1,Physico-chemical property
Appearance: blue grey powder.
Density: 0.95+0.05g/cm3
Water insoluble: ≤2.5%
Catalytic activity: ≥0.2min-1
Has good dissolubility in the water or alkaline solution.
It presents sky blue in alkali solution, pale green in ammonia water, it can't decompose in acid-base medium, has good chemical stability and heat stability, it can't decompose below 200°C.
Catalyst itself has no corrosion, no toxicity. Has very strong oxygen inhalation, ability of carrying oxygen, high catalytic activity.

1),High ability of remove high-sulfur. When remove gas has high quantity of H2S, the desulfurization rate can reach to 99%. Desulfurization effect can reach to the process requirement.
2),Can't block the tower, low cost. The sulfur granule floated out is big when regeneration, low solution viscosity, easy to separate sulfur. It also can wash the tower when desulfurization.
3),PDS desulfurization solution has good selectivity when remove H2S. It also remove H2S efficiently when the gas has high CO2/H2S.
4),Hight catalytic activity, lower dosage, economic operation, easy to use. When old system use PDS catalyst, needn't stop and discharge original desulfurization solution, which can reduce environmental pollution.
4,Main technology can use soda ash or ammonia water to be alkali source.
Absorption and regeneration temperature: 20-45 °C, the best is 35-45°C .
Pray density of packed tower: 40m3/m2.hPH: 8-9, the best is 8.2-8.6.
Liquefaction proportion: ≥12L/m3.
Regeneration oxidation trough residence time is 15-30 min, blowing strength is 60-110m3/m2.h.
5,Usage
1),Desulfurization solution preparation
When operating, add soft water, ammonia water(or pure lye) to the preparation slot to prepare out the required solution. According 3-10g/m3 measure to add PDS desulfurization catalyst, meanwhile blow air to the solution to activating, mixing about 3-4 hours, then put it into the poor liquid trough.
2),Preparation of added solution
The preparation steps is the same as desulfurization solution. When supplement solution should according to the calculated quantity to maintain the normal operation, generally remove 1kg H2S need PDS 0.8-2.0 g. The replenishment point can choose an appropriate position on the pipeline equipment which the poor liquid flow through.
6,Notes
1),The catalyst should kept in a cool ventilated place out of humidity and light. The bottle should cover up when not used up to prevent dropping and mixing.
2),If use ammonia water as adsorption, we can't use ammonia water contains additive from ammonium bicarbonate workshop section. When use cuprammonia should check up there is no copper solution, because this has a certain influence to sulfur bubble flotation.
3),Because the PDS concentration in the desulfurization solution is lower, it's hard to have an accurate analysis, we can use flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FLAA) determinator or spectrophotometer to analyze.
